HOW LONG DOES WINDOW TINTING TAKE?
Front windows take about 1 hour. All sides and rear typically take 2–3 hours. A full vehicle including windshield can take 3–4 hours. We’ll give you a time estimate when you book so you can plan your day.
What Is The Darkest Legal Tint In Illinois?
Illinois law requires front side windows to allow at least 35% VLT (visible light transmission). Rear side windows and rear windshield can be any shade — including limo black. The front windshield can only have a clear ceramic film or a 6-inch sun strip at the top. We always tint within legal limits and advise you accordingly.
What's the difference between carbon and ceramic tint?
Carbon tint is a great entry-level option — it blocks UV, reduces glare, and won’t turn purple or fade. Ceramic tint is the premium tier: it rejects significantly more infrared heat (keeping your car much cooler), won’t interfere with GPS or cell signals, and comes with our lifetime warranty. If you spend time in your car and hate summer heat, ceramic is worth it.
DO YOU OFFER ANY WARRANTY ON YOUR WINDOW TINT?
Yes. Our ceramic tint installations come with a lifetime warranty covering bubbling, peeling, cracking, fading, and purple discoloration. If anything goes wrong with the tint itself — not from physical damage — we’ll fix or replace it at no cost to you.
How do I care for my new tint?
Most importantly: don’t roll your windows down for 48–72 hours after installation. The adhesive needs time to fully cure. For the first week, avoid harsh chemical cleaners on the glass. After that, clean normally — tint is durable and low-maintenance. We’ll walk you through everything when you pick up your car.

How long does window tint last?
Quality carbon tint typically lasts 5–10 years. Ceramic tint — especially from brands like 3M, XPEL, and Avery — can last the lifetime of the vehicle when properly cared for. Cheap dye-based tints fade and bubble within 2–3 years, which is why we don’t use them.
Can you remove my old tint before installing new?
Absolutely. We offer tint removal as a standalone service or bundled with a new install. Old or bubbling tint is fully removed, adhesive residue cleaned off, and the glass prepped for a fresh application — all done in one visit.
